Event Description

New Orleans is world-renowned for its distinctive music, Creole cuisine, and an amazing number of museums and private art collections. The Hotel Saint Vincent is nestled in the charming Garden District, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in New Orleans. Here you will find quiet streets lined with oak trees, grand historic mansions, and lavish gardens. You’ll be in the heart of the Big Easy, just a streetcar ride from Bourbon Street. Andrew Eschelbacher, Director of Collections and Exhibitions at the Carter and former NOLA resident, will join members on this tour of this vibrant city.

Highlights of the trip include:

  • Private curator tours at the New Orleans Museum of Art and Ogden Museum of Southern Art
  • Visits to the homes of private collectors and historic houses
  • Exploration of NOLA’s fine art galleries on Royal Street and outsider art galleries on Magazine Street
  • An evening ghost tour followed by a drink at the Voodoo Lounge
