Grab a drink or snack and watch from your home every Thursday in August for a happy hour chat with a side of creativity featuring one of our Carter Community Artists and a Carter staff member. After the conversation, the featured artist will lead us through a stress-relieving, easy art project using materials you already have at home! 

This week, artist Sarah Ayala and Carter curator Maggie Adler will chat about what they have been doing during the pandemic, Sarah’s experience as a Carter Community Artist, and how works in the Carter’s collection inspire them in their work and everyday life. Sarah will demonstrate how to make floral illustrations using the following materials: 

• Paper 
• Pencil 
• Eraser 
• Pens, markers, and colored pencils (optional)
