Event Description

Led by a docent, this free tour will focus on the exhibition Sargent, Whistler, and Venetian Glass: American Artists and the Magic of Murano. Participants will explore paintings, prints, and marvelous works of glass created during the Venetian glass revival between 1860 and 1915—a time, place, and art form that inspired American tourism and art collecting as well as artistic experimentation by visiting American artists.
