Working on paper served as a vital mode of experimentation for American artists represented in both Charles Butt’s collection and that of the Carter. Paper Forum members are invited to join Shirley Reece-Hughes, Senior Curator of Paintings, Sculpture, and Works on Paper, to explore the connections among artists’ works featured in the exhibition, followed by a visit to the Carter’s Study Room for a private viewing and discussion of related artworks from the Carter’s collection.
