Calling all DFW college students! Enjoy an exclusive evening with free food and tunes for college and graduate students. Listen to music in the galleries, make some art, and get inspired by the Carter’s collection.

Schedule

5–6 p.m.

Meet with Carter staff to learn about different museum careers and get advice on job hunting in the art world. Staff will share their own backgrounds, what they do at the Carter, and their best advice for college students. Ask questions and get answers! Staff presentations will repeat at 6 p.m.

5–8 p.m.

Enjoy free savory snacks, sweet treats, and something to drink (nonalcoholic drinks available as well as select beer and wine for those who are 21 or older) while you chill out and listen to electric beats with DJ duo Yokyo.

Pick up an Artist Personality Quiz in the Atrium and find out which artist in the Carter collection you are most like.

Enter our raffle to win a Carter bag full of art supplies and more!

Make your own version of Norman Lewis's Seachange XIII with Carter Community Artist Lingchia Tsai and learn a simple technique for abstract painting. Supplies limited to the first 200 people.

6–7 p.m.
