Since its founding in 1961, the Carter has continually published original scholarship contributing to the study of American art. The Carter’s publications have long fostered both a broader and deeper understanding of American creativity. The Museum’s Library holds a complete set of the Carter’s publications from 1961 to the present, including rare and out-of-print titles as well as limited-edition artist books.
