Event Description

This week is all about raising our voices: hearing inspirational stories, getting creative, sharing our ideas, and speaking up on things that matter! Enjoy this free, fun-filled event including gallery games, art-making activities, creativity challenges, and more. All ages welcome.

Schedule

  • Create recycled artworks with Carter Community Artist Calder Kamin
  • Visit Barb the Bus to fill a bag with free art-making materials from The Welman Project (perfect for educators!)
  • Listen, learn, and create your own history mini-books inspired by the story of artist Ed Dwight in collaboration with Tarrant County Education Foundation
  • Write poetry and tell campfire stories in the special exhibition galleries
  • Create wearable artworks inspired by Stephanie Syjuco: Double Vision
  • And more!
