Event Description

Looking for Spring Break excitement and inspiration? We have you covered at the Carter! Enjoy this free, fun-filled event including gallery games, art-making activities, creativity challenges, and more. All ages welcome.

Schedule

1–4 p.m.

Collaborate with Carter Community Artist Kelsha Reese to fold, cut, and create an out-of-the-box community sculpture inspired by Leonardo Drew: Number 235T.

Learn about art, nature, and research in the Library’s Family Collection.

Sketch in the galleries, create larger-than-life paintings, invent sound sculptures, and play gallery games!

Tasty treats are available for purchase from The Beignet Bus.

1:30–2 p.m.

Join “Playtime with Prickles,” a special sensory circle time hosted by everyone’s favorite Carter friend, Prickles the Jackalope! Activity designed for children ages 6 and younger and their families.
