Event Description
Marfa, Texas. The name alone evokes images far removed from those of the modern world, a remote place where life is less busy and complicated. There is an endless expanse of blue sky above Marfa and its white-washed courthouse, and at the edge of town are stunning views of the Chinati range. This destination is also home to the renowned Chinati Foundation, a network of buildings and displays of minimalist art founded by the artist Donald Judd. Marfa should be on every art lover’s bucket list, and those who have been know that it is a destination worthy of repeat visits.
Either way, now is your chance! Join us for a four-day, three-night trip to West Texas that includes a visit to Fort Davis, Prada Marfa, art galleries and studios, wonderful restaurants, the mysterious Marfa Lights, and the renowned Chinati Foundation.
The all-inclusive tour price is $1,800 per person (single supplement is $300). This fee includes accommodation based on double occupancy, breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily; transportation by luxury motor coach; gratuities for guides and bus drivers; all sightseeing and admission charges; service charges; and taxes.
This tour is not ADA accessible, and participation involves a fair amount of walking. This trip is for Carter members only; space is limited. Full payment is due at the time the trip is booked. Itinerary is subject to change.
