Event Description
Free food. Free art. Free tunes.
Calling all DFW college students! Enjoy an exclusive evening with free food and tunes for college and graduate students. Listen to music in the galleries, make some art, and get inspired by the Carter’s collection. This event is for ages 17 and up.
Schedule
5–8 p.m.
Enjoy free savory snacks, sweet treats, and something to drink (nonalcoholic drinks available as well as select beer and wine for those who are 21 or older) while you chill out and listen to electric beats with DJ Wild in the Streets.
Take our personality quiz to find out which artist in the Carter’s collection you are most like. Once completed, decorate your own button and wear it proudly!
Take a trip through the galleries with one or more of our themed gallery guides.
Hungry for more art? Create your own wearable felt food pin inspired by Chuck Ramirez’s delicious food photographs with Carter Community Artist Colleen Borsh. Supplies limited to the first 200 people.
Go on a behind-the-scenes tour of our Library and Archives and chat with Carter staff about the poison books project they are working on.
Enter our raffle to win a bag full of art supplies and more! Winner will be contacted on September 19.
