In connection with Trespassers: James Prosek and the Texas Prairie, join us to experiment and create a work of art inspired by the artist’s paintings of Texas plants and grasslands. We’ll start the workshop with a tour of the exhibition before we dive into art making. Led by Carter Community Artist Olivia Garcia-Hassell, we’ll learn introductory techniques to gouache before making our own Prosek-inspired work. No previous experience necessary and all materials provided.
