[printed]: A VIEW FROM THE RESERVOIR (FORTIETH STREET). \ A portion of the Reservoir Wall is forced into this picture, and the west side of Fifth Avenue is shown far down. \ In this view a long line of troops, the New York 7th in advance, is seen in the streets, and untold numbers of people on the pavements and blocking \ the windows, doors, steps and roofs of the two miles of buildings on both sides. \ 41
