Tom Custer and a company of the Seventh \ Cavalry and confined in the guard house at Fort \ Lincoln for murder. While awaiting his trial he \ makde his escape. It is stated on good authority \ that he killed Capt. Tom Custer. He is a fine \ looking Indian.
