    u.l. printed: Santo Domingo is located on the east bank of the \ Rio Grande two and a half miles west of the station \ of Domingo. The streets, four in number, run at \ right angles from the river. The houses are never \ more than two stories high and rather larger than \ the usual pueblo domicile. The inhabitant, about \ 650 in number, are very conservative.
