    u.l. printed: The picturesque pueblo of Laguna lies 66 miles \ west of Albuquerque, on the Santa Fe. It was \ founded in 1699 by refugee Indians from Acoma, \ Zuni and Cochiti. Several great battles were fought \ here in early days with the Navahos and Apaches. \ A Wagon road leads south to the Enchanted Mesa \ and Acoma.
