I sent you a card from \ here about a month ago but did not \ have your right address sent it to Wash \ Ave the last address I had. you might \ ask the mail man to look it up it was \ my picture on a Postcard. I got taken \ in [illeg.] when I came here in \ Dec. [illeg.]was here a wk just went \ home today . I suppose you had \ heard of me coming here. I bought \ 80 acres of land close to here. This \ is a nice country and a climate \ equal to Colo. I believe so far the \ winters are nicer here than there \ 3800 ft Altitude and very healthy. \ I have been real well this winter \ and like it fine here. I hope you \ will get this card and will answer \ soon. How is Jack. Maby [sic] you and Jack will come this way on wedding tour \ H G Winder
