    u.l. printed: 1258 THE PLAZA, SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO \ End of the Old Santa Fe Trail, this plaza \ was a haven of rest to the weary traveler in \ the early days. \ The Monument, seen in the center, was \ erected in memory of the heroes of the Indian \ Pueblo Rebellion of 1680 and other battles, \ and their names are inscribed thereon. \ The Palace of the Governors is seen on the \ north side, while a tablet marking the "End \ of the Santa Fe Trail" is on the south. \ The "Rebel" Monument may be seen in the center.
