Description
Autograph letter signed. Says another anniversary of their marriage has slipped away while they are busy “getting ready” and expresses her hope that they will still have their health and love when they are ready. Tells him that she felt lonely when he called from the party. Says she feels like “the mother” and he is “the small boy who wants to be with the gang.” Reports that Babs wants to visit in September and she hopes she [Dorr] can help her. Tells that Bet just heard on the radio that Paris has “surrendered … to the Allies” and “this tragedy” is ending.
