Autograph letter signed. Expresses regret that “Mackinac is not possible this year.” but says she’s sure other inspiration will appear. Says she tries not to “philosophize” too much in her letters and that he says she has preached at him. Says she has time to contemplate and treasure the memories of living kindness, unlike him who has “a truck-load of new things dumped upon the day.”
