Recto:
l.l. to l.r. printed: H-1936 NAVAHO BLANKET WEAVERS, INDIAN BUILDING, ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO.
Verso:
u.l. printed: FRED HARVEY "PHOSTINT" \ TRADE MARK REG. - U.S. PAT OFF. \ MADE ONLY BY DETROIT PUBLISHING CO \ This is not an uncommon sight in Arizona and \ New Mexico, for the Navahos are the principal \ blanket weavers among the various Indian tribes \ of the Southwest. The art of blanket weaving, \ among the Navahos, was probably learned from \ the Pueblos Indians some three or four hundred \ years ago, and the Navahos, being a shrewd, bus- \ iness-like people, developed the Art until their \ product became famous throughout the civilized \ world.
