Description
Typed letter signed. Sends Dorr a write-up to pass along to Erica [Anderson?]. Says he is very busy and there are very many distractions for him. His new book, The Church and the Black Man, will be out October 15. He says he doesn’t like the book because it is sad and holds little hope that institutionalized religion will “come to the light in time.” Asks Dorr what “our Frank’s” last name is because he says that a Frank de Roche and his brother were excommunicated by “of all people” Bishop Primeau. Says people come to both Dorr and to him seeking words, actions, and solutions and he can only pray for them. Tells her of his travel plans for the next two weeks and hopes she received the booklet Father George made on Mandy.
