    u.l. to u.c. printed: HALL OF SCIENCE \ is 700 feet long and 400 feet wide, two stories \ in height with a mezzanine floor, "U" shaped, \ the open part facing east toward Lake Michigan \ and surrounding a huge rostrum capable of accom- \ modating several thousand persons. An added in- \ teresting feature is the 176 foot tower fitted \ with a carillon.
