Carter College Council
The Carter is looking for creative, motivated college students to join the Carter College Council and co-create our next College Night, the Museum’s one-of-a-kind event designed with and for college students. This is your chance to share your ideas, gain hands-on museum experience, network, and help welcome the next generation of museum visitors. Plus, it’s a great addition to any resume!
What you'll do as a Carter College Council Member
LEARN: attend at least three of four meetings with staff and get an inside look at how museums plan engaging events. Dinner will be provided at all meetings.
CREATE: brainstorm, design, and shape the upcoming College Night at the Carter on February 19, 2026
COLLABORATE: work alongside Carter staff and other students from the DFW area
PROMOTE: help spread the word and create excitement for the event
Council members must attend at least three of the four scheduled meetings at the Carter. Dinner will be provided at all meetings.
