Event Description

Welcome warmer days, unique perspectives, and new exhibitions. Beginning March 31, members can enjoy a three-week Tea & Tours series! Carter docents will guide you through our current exhibitions telling stories of the artists and giving a greater insight into the works on view. End the afternoon in The Lounge with a spot of tea, light refreshments, and bright conversations with friends!

Experience decades of change through the lens of 60 photographers presented in Black Photojournalism. Organized by Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, Black Photojournalism offers a broad portrayal of historical events and the daily lives of Black Americans between 1945 and the mid-1980s. Together, these images are a powerful record of history and show the lasting impact of Black-owned media outlets on stories of American history.

Free for Carter members, $5 for additional nonmember guests. RSVP by email or call 817.989.5060.
