Event Description

Join us every second Thursday to connect with art through cocktails, conversations, and creativity. This month, unravel the connections between artistic creation and the passage of time with artist Leonardo Drew and his imaginative installation Number 235T.

Schedule

5–8 p.m.

Enjoy drinks for purchase in the Atrium, including a raspberry rosé specialty cocktail. Carter members get one complimentary drink! Lite bites are available for purchase at the Carter’s Food Cart.

Add to a community artwork inspired by Number 235T with Carter Community Artist Kelsha Reese. Supplies limited to the first 200 people.

6–7:30 p.m.

Artist Leonardo Drew will talk with Carter curator Shirley Reece-Hughes about his work commissioned for the Carter, Number 235T. Following their conversation, both speakers will participate in a Q&A. Seating for the talk will be first come, first served.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.
