Come break the rules and say “yes!” to new art experiences at the Carter’s Second Thursdays! Each month you’ll find something different than the last—mingle with fellow art lovers, make art, and meet visiting artists, sometimes with live music and always with themed cocktails inspired by the Carter’s collection.

In August, bring your friends and relive your summer-camp days with throwback arts and crafts, but this time with craft cocktails too!

All activities are available from 5 to 8 p.m. Explore at your own pace and earn merit badges by completing tasks at stations throughout the Museum.

Enjoy drinks, custom cocktails, and mocktails. Carter members get one complimentary drink! Lite bites are available for purchase at the Carter’s Food Cart

Meet the Creature Teacher Get up close with live animals, including a sloth and baby kangaroo, and learn more about the creatures that share our great outdoors. Space is limited, and guests will be admitted in small groups throughout the evening for the safety and comfort of the animals.
