Event Description

Carter Paper Forum members are invited to join us for a reception honoring Anila Agha following her Artist Talk. Agha’s work blends light and shadow in intricately sewn drawings and immersive sculptural installations. For the Carter’s exhibition Anila Quayyum Agha: A Beautiful Despair, the artist created a series of drawings and two intricately cut steel sculptures, one of which is 5 feet square, suspended from the ceiling, and illuminated from within by a single light source, filling the gallery with ornate patterns.
