Event Description

Do you think you know all there is to know about the two epic American artists Winslow Homer and Frederic Remington? Tune in for a virtual sneak peek of the exhibition Mythmakers: The Art of Winslow Homer and Frederic Remington with curator Maggie Adler and conservators Claire Barry and Peter Van De Moortel to uncover the mythologies surrounding these two American art icons. Adler will take guests through the key themes of the exhibition, while the conservators will reveal what’s beneath the surface of the artists’ paintings to show us how they were made.
