Event Description

Carter members and their guests have the first chance to explore Sargent, Whistler, and Venetian Glass: American Artists and the Magic of Murano. This exhibition features more than 135 artworks that bring to life the Venetian glass revival between 1860 and 1915. Works by American artists like John Singer Sargent and James McNeill Whistler are paired alongside examples of exceptional Murano glasswork and mosaics.
