Event Description

In connection with the exhibition Sandy Rodriguez in Isolation, use the creative process to create a unique work of art while also processing the turbulent year of 2020. Led by Carter Community Artist and licensed professional Counselor and Art Therapist Rachel Nash, we will discuss how we can use art as a therapeutic tool, and we will incorporate writing into the art-making process. Maggie Adler, curator of the exhibition, will share some insights on Rodriguez’s background and artworks at the start of the workshop. No previous experience necessary and all materials provided.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.
