Description
Autograph letter signed. Says Mentzel has stopped smoking for four weeks to help her gain weight. Reports that Mentzel is hiring a lawyer to deal with her sister-in-law’s attempts to say Rose is unfit to care for Thomas. Tells Dorr that student protest in Germany is not heart-felt, but is to show the world how “almighty” they are and that they ‘know everything.” Mentzel wants to return to America, but her husband has taken a new job in Berlin and they are moving there.
