Autograph letter signed. Expresses sadness at the damage done by the hurricane at Dorr’s home, Villa Serena, and gladness that Dorr appreciates and understands Mentzel’s husband Henry’s book Bar Le Duc. Tells Dorr about Thomas’ progress with therapy and possible need for surgery .Mentions several opportunities Mentzel has had to show her art at a number of galleries, but she has not acted on any of the offers. Reports that her husband Henry is doing great work with drawings and watercolor which she wishes Dorr could see.
