Description
Autograph letter signed. Explains accounting Nell has made about the farm and its expenses, Says it doesn’t include doctor’s bills or the effects of the strain on Bets’ health and her own. Says as a result of the summer’s project she herself is a physical and nervous wreck. Includes costs of meal preparations, trips for supplies, wages for help, etc. Says that nothing means as much to him as experimentation and “that is no foundation to build a home on.”
