Description
Autograph letter signed. Relates that Erica [Anderson? Nell’s friend and fellow photographer] left this morning and that she [Nell] is packing up to move to the Ghost Ranch Motel which is less expensive. Says Linda and Larry [John’s great grandson] came for a visit and she went home with them for a while, and then they came back to the Inn so Larry could have a bath which he loved. Tells John that Larry’s joy and energy resembles John’s. Says Dorr has waited all evening to hear from Erica that she has landed safely, which she finally does at 7 p. m. Tells that she has checked out of this hotel and has no car, nor any money to pay the bill so she feels anxious. Reports going now to the Ghost Ranch Hotel for the night. Says she will be at Hotel La Caverna in Carlsbad on Thursday or Friday.
