Description
Autograph letter signed. Reports that on her travels in Texas, she has seen the oil fields and calls them a “desecration.” In the rich, black earth country where Texas boasts of her cotton and crops, she is happy to see the “Negro shanties” and the” children and pigs playing together.” Thanks John for making this trip possible.
