    Autograph letter signed. Tells that she is happy to be home. Says that she has asked Burr if he would like to go to India with them in the summer and his response was very enthusiastic. Reports that she discussed possible courses of study for him and how much she wants to be of help to him. Says John Ennis has started work there and he can’t find men who want to work. She hopes he will “work into your [John Dorr’s] ideal. Tells that she was happy to turn down a job of getting out a new Connecticut Cook Book for Harpers. Says she has “too many beautiful dreams of (her) own” to pursue. Encloses a letter form Tom McCready who is “muddled” and unable to adjust to his life now.
