Description
Autograph letter signed. Reports receiving his letter from Scotland and how her heart responds to the dear people there, but it recoils from the thought of New York and living there. Says his telephone call was an anti-climax, telling her to wait longer and then saying it was Goldthwaite [his brother] that he intended to reach. Tells that she spoke to Goldthwaite and that he was very responsible and wise. Says Babs has been in the hospital with “a strep sore throat.” Relates her worries about having to move January 1st with no place to go.
