Description
Autograph letter signed. Dorr is enjoying the snowfall and the total eclipse of the moon which happened on her first night there. Says she spent a night at Win’s [Virginia, her oldest daughter] and wanted to help her, but she could not. Tells of going on to Bet’s [Dorr’s daughter Elizabeth} where tea, fresh scones and honey awaited her along with a “laughing girl child”, little Cathy. Regrets not being able to spend Christmas with him.
