Description
Autograph letter signed. Tells that they came north to pick up Anne and Kate at camp on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. Says Salt Spring Island is even more beautiful and remote. Says they are visiting a family whose daughter is editing a book about whales in which all the drawings are done by children- which Scrimshaw will do next year. They are staying together in a little cabin down a trail from the main house with no roads so everything must come by boat. Says it is such a quiet, lovely place that Dorr must share. They go to the Olympic Peninsula on Monday to camp, but it will seem crowded after the serenity of this place.
