  • Description

Autograph document signed. Thanks Dorr for her letter. Says she (Greta) has been in a “bad storm”. They wanted to move out of the city and had everything ready to move back to the chalet when a number of money problems came up, confusing her. She wants a house with a yard and feels like she has made a wrong decision. She and Frederick are having some troubles and it saddens her that Dorr’s Mother and Child [re-release] came out at this time. [1972 - See Box 3, folder 10, Mitchell, Margaretta and Frederick (9), item 8.] Says she knows what went wrong at the press, but the buying public does not and will accept this edition “with the same emotion as the last.” Asks whether Dorr’s ribs are mended and if she fell. She says she is not completely herself and that they are struggling, but they appreciate her love and caring.
