Description
Typed letter annotated. Describes upcoming events at the San Francisco Museum of Art, including several which will highlight the Quitzow Family of dancers. There is to be an exhibition called Focus of Bay Area Dance Photography which will feature the family as well as other prominent dancers. Also there will be a San Francisco Dance Film Festival 1978 which will span four days and feature film, photographs, graphic arts, and video programs concerning the history of dance education and performance in the Bay Area, including Margaretta Mitchell’s film and slide presentation on the Temple of the Wings performance. Handwritten note in the margin says, “This is a great challenge and a joy as all three of the girls are in the slides of the dancing!” [Referring to Mitchell’s own three daughters?]
