    Autograph letter signed. Says this letter should be treasured because it was written on Mr. Edison’s paper, in his room, at his desk, with his pen and ink. Reports having many conversations with Lillian and says he has “quite gone back to her” and this time he really caring for her. Tells that he listens to her confidences and tries to advise her. Says he “loves her for her faults,” but later refers to her as “Lillian the Odious.” Says she and several others are “laid up” right now and that he works 10 times as hard as anyone else. Says he will now use Mr. Edison’s comb and brush and go home.
