    Autograph letter signed. Speaks of people and plans in their lives and of being aboard ship and needing to go up for the lifeboat drills, but not going. Misses her and mentions a possible trip for them for a month or six weeks to the West Indies from Cuba to Trinidad. Discusses financial arrangements with an eye to decreasing his working and living comfortably on his income and selling some land. He hopes to get away earlier and to go north with her.
