Typed letter signed. Says he has been to the doctor and was sedated and then it was decided not to go into his ankle because there was still too much infection. Tells that when he returned home there was a crate of galleys for his new book awaiting correction which he will not be able to start until the next day. Mentions that Father Pire will only be there one day and night and in Montreal for 4 days.
