Description
Typed letter signed. Reports being terribly busy and apologizes for his “silence,” but Piedy [his wife Margaret] has been very ill with a strep throat and he has had issues with the Internal Revenue Service about advances for Pocket Books rights over five years. He paid the full amount for the five year period, under protest, instead of being able to spread the taxes over a five year period, due to some technicality. He refers to the IRS problems Dorr had the preceding year. He says he is sending pictures when he mails this letter.
