Description
Typed letter signed. Describes a strange coincidence that happened due to Dorr. A young photographer, Dick Stark, was working in the area and borrowed Griffin’s darkroom to work. He shared with Griffin a great love of Bach so they had their own Bach “festival” playing several Bach pieces on the piano. Stark didn’t get his work finished so he came the following day, immediately followed by the postman with a gift of Bach Brandenburg Concerti, a gift from Nell Dorr to Griffin. They listened to these while Stark finished his work and then while they looked through two of Dorr’s photography books. He was writing to share this coincidence with her and to thank her.
