    Typed letter signed. Thanks her for her note to him and asks her if she speaks French and if she has a tape recorder. Griffin wants to send Dorr a tape he made of Jacques Maritain reading some of his wife Raissa’s poems, singing two of her Canticles, and reading some of the poems of Pierre Reverdy. Griffin says Reverdy is perhaps the greatest poet of his age and a friend of both Maritain’s and Griffin’s.
