Typed letter signed. Tells Dorr that he is sick about the “hatred” that she has been subjected to. [No details given.] Says he is often asked why he does the kind of work he does and if he has made a bargain with God about being allowed to live. Griffin angrily replies that he never makes bargains with God and that people who are always asking “why” he does something wouldn’t understand if he told them.
