Typed letter signed. Expresses feelings of guilt at not being a better correspondent and that they don’t send her statements or royalties consistently. Says Mother and Child is doing well and produces a modest income. Reports that the family is doing well. Says he has an idea for an alliance with a big New York publishing house that know the mechanics of the business which he does not and which would be interested in working with a California press for their knowledge of the place. Says the company is insolvent, but he is blessed.
