Description
Typed letter signed. Tells her he is definitely out of Ramparts [magazine] which was headed in a direction he did not want to go. He says it is becoming more interested in the future and environmental problems than the “shock for shock’s sake” outlook they used to have, but he is done with it and has better things to do. Says he is proud of their new book, Roger Minick’s Delta West, which is due to be published January 29th, but they are hand-delivering copies to several San Francisco bookstores in time for Christmas and the reception has been very good. Margaretta’s book is also doing well by word-of-mouth, like Dorr’s Mother and Child. Says there are other possible projects they are thinking about, possibly with Ansel Adams with Edwin Land helping financially. Also reports that the family is doing well and says their lives, in part, are a dedication to Dorr.
